Jennifer Meggs

“I only see this company going up because we do not let our customers down.”

Jennifer has been with Southern Software since 1993. She started as a support technician moving up to support manager. She then spent six years overseeing the day-to-day operations as President and eventually became CEO. Jennifer is a committed wife and mother of three.  She is a fan of Everybody Loves Raymond and her favorite movie is Mary Poppins. She is passionate about music including playing the violin.  In her free time, Jennifer can be found working out or around the yard. Jennifer’s commitment to customer satisfaction extends to providing her personal contact information to customers.

Starting as a software programmer/hardware technician in 1990 John has been with Southern Software from the beginning. Promoted to CFO in 2004, John enjoys the outdoors, whether it is fishing, road biking through neighborhoods and even stargazing. A native of Rockingham, NC, he now resides with his wife, Katie, and son in Pinehurst, NC. According to John, it is important to take into consideration the financial foundation of any company you are considering doing business with. From the beginning, Southern Software has adhered to the highest standards of fiscal responsibility and integrity. This firm financial base allows us to continually update our products and ensures our customers years of worry-free ownership.

Patrick Pusser
Director- FMS Product Development and Operations

Patrick has been with Southern Software since 2003
.  Originally hired to help convert Citi-Pak customers from DOS to Windows, he went on to become FMS Product and Support Director prior to his promotion to Support Operations Manager. He now oversees support for every product Southern Software offers. He is married and is the father of triplets. Patrick claims to have a knack for golfing and enjoys spending time with his family. He wants the customers to know that we care about them and that we want them to be comfortable when they call in. His Goal is “100% customer satisfaction.”

Craig Goodnight
Vice President/CSO

Craig has been with Southern Software since 2002. He has served in law enforcement for 27 years including 8 as Chief of Police in Carthage, NC. He was also officer of the year for the State of North Carolina in 1988. A sportsman at heart, Craig is usually found in camouflage when not in the office or on the road. He coaches girls softball and loves to spend as much time as possible with his wife and two children. Craig is also the author of the children’s book Never Talk to Strangers.

Cameron Dew
Vice President/Senior Account Manager

One of the longest tenured employees of Southern Software, he has been here since1989 and has seen the company grow from 10 customers and 4 and ½ employees to now serving over 750 customers and employing over 70 people. Cameron is described by his friends and peers as a “Silent Leader” and enjoys encouraging others to be the best they can be. Faith plays a pivotal role in his life and quality is his goal in life. He is actively involved in his church where he serves as Head Usher. Cameron has been married for over 30 years and together he and his wife have raised three children. When asked about the future of Southern Software, he replied, “This Company has so much potential. The only limits are what it sets itself.”

Terrie Campbell

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Terrie’s friendly voice is the first sound most customers hear when calling Southern Software. She has been with the company since 1992 and in addition to serving as the voice of Southern Software, helps with administrative duties. She is very involved in her church, as well as being a dedicated wife, mother and devoted grandmother of six. She enjoys softball (2 time MVP for Sandhills Community College) and riding her 2001 Harley Davidson Fatboy. Always in good spirits, Terrie has a cheery greeting and a smile for everyone.
